Ytre Steinsund Bru – Launching and instalment of bridge foundations
Scope: Tronds Barge 30 was utilized for the prefabrication and launching of bridge foundations for the impressive new Ytre Steinsund bru. This bridge, spanning 811m when completed.
During the marine operations, Tronds Marine Service delivered the Barge operators, submerging the barge to approximately 7m water above deck, tugboats for maneuvering, and our floating crane ‘Tronds Lift 8’ to ensure the safe and efficient launch and positioning of the 300 tons heavy bridge foundations.

Sotralink – Transport, lifting and installation of caissons
Scope: Tronds Lift 8 conducted the transport, lifting and instalment of the concrete caissons and rebar cages for the tower foundations to new Sotra bridge. The Caisson weights was 228 tons.

Senja – Osprey salvage operation
Scope: TMS mobilized ‘Tronds Lift 6’ to Northern Norway and delivered lifting assistance of the stranded 18mt heavy CV-22 Osprey aircraft from shore to barge. The crane was equiped with long boom to achieve the neassecary outrach of apporx. 70 m.

Launching and transportation of encloded fish farm
Scope: TMS delivered floating crane, barge and tug for the launching, seatesting and transportation of “Egget”. The 180t heavy enclosed fishfarm was laucnhed inshore for seatesting and then loaded on to barge for the transportation from Ølve to Molde.

Kalstø – Rock dumping barge

Hywind Tampen – Installation of Mooring and Towage of CSS
Scope: TMS delivered a total mooring-package which included Method statement, Engineering, Procurement, Pre tention of anchor lines, installation of mooring and hook-up. These operations were followed by towage of 11pcs concrete substructures (CSS) from Eldøy (Stord, Norway) to Dommersnes (Vindafjord, Norway).
