Aker Solutions has awarded Tronds Marine Service the contract for Marine Operations in
connection with the construction of the Hywind Tampen Concrete Substructures.
Tronds Marine Service aims to offer complete service packages to our clients. The agreement with Aker Solutions is an important milestone where we have succeeded by designing a project plan, method of work and further developing a plan for executing the work, in strong competition with other suppliers
In addition to the project design, purchasing and planning, the work will include:
– Installation of eight mooring lines, in total about 4500 meters with chains
– Towage and mooring of three barges at site at Dommersnes, Ålfjorden
– Towage and mooring of 11 Wind Turbine Generator foundations from Stord to Dommersnes
– Demobilizing of barges and moorings
Tronds Marine Service AS employs 41 well qualified employees and offers tailor-made solutions for marine operations along the entire coast. We are based in Høylandsbygd and have a fleet of three crane barges with a lifting capacity of up to 400 tons, two tugs and 15 barges. Tronds Marine Service is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
